Add and activate your organization

Step 1

Add Your own organization through the menu on the left Administration > Organization and click on the orange sphere with the plus sign Add organization. Automatic addition to Chamber of Commerce or Enterprise number only works for Dutch and Belgian organizations (we work on adding other countries to our database). For organizations from other countries,Contactbe recorded with us. In this manual we use the Chamber of Commerce number as a starting point, but you can also use an Enterprise number there.

Alert
You can add a maximum of two own organizations in subscription "Invoice Portal". Customize your subscription form - at least to "Basic" - if you want to manage more organizations. Don't see an orange ball with plus sign, then you - with this username logged in - are not an Administrator in the area and you cannot add an organization. Log out and log in with the Administrator's username, or transfer it to the administrator rights user.
Within your own organization, check who is administrator on the platform with the request to create your administrator or add it to the organization(s) on the platform.
Warning
You only make yourself Own organization(s), based on your Own Chamber of Commerce number, and thereforeNotA supplier or your customer!
The platform does not have an "address book function" to store frequently used customers. With each new invoice, look up the debtor with the link "Find organization" link or use a previously saved concept invoice.

In the search bar you can search for the organization by name or Chamber of Commerce number. Then select your organization and click on Select.

An overview of the company data will now appear. In any case, check that the country has been properly taken over; that determines which Identifier fields are available. It is possible to add additional information, which is useful for automatic supplement if you manually create invoices. Then click onSave.


Step 2

The organization is open and indicates that it has not yet been activated. Click on Activate now to start the activation process.


We carry out an audit to ensure that you are authorized to act for the company you specified. For this, you have the choice of two methods. Select the method and click Continue.

Method 1

The first method is Automatically activate by means of an online payment of 1 cent from the bank account of the company you specified. Select the bank and follow the on-screen instructions. In the event of a successful* transfer, the organization is activated on the platform.

We verify the registration of the company on the basis of the bank details. The bank has checked the identity of the bankholder, and we check whether the person is entitled to act on behalf of the company.


Warning
Do not cancel the online payment prematurely. Interrupt activation takes a lot of time to recover - this can take up to several working days. The Support department will receive a notification of this and will contact you.

InfoAs soon as you see that Payment has been successful We have received your data. AYour organization is not activated immediately.You need it Not again to try; our Support department will receive a notification to look at the activation with human eyes, and they may decide to activate the organization, or contact you.

Sometimes an activation request must be checked and assessed by an eConnect employee. Sometimes an activation is not completed fully automatically after the payment has been made and some time may take some time. Did you make the payment outside office hours? Then the organization will only be activated during the next working day. There is no point in making the payment twice or more times.

You will receive an email with a link to complete the activation.


Method 2

You can also choose 'Manual activation procedure', for example if you do not have access to your company's payment account, or if your bank is not connected to one of the available payment networks. You will then receive an invoice to transfer 15 euros excluding VAT from the account of the company you specified*. eConnect checks whether you are authorized to act on behalf of the organization.

In case of successful activation, there is a checkmark underneath Activated.

Click now on Close To move on.
